First Day of Classes...

Knowing that my youngest son Khrys will be going to school alone this morning makes me feel a little bit sad. I used to see them (Aaron and Khyrs) leave the house together every morning during school days in previous years. But, this morning Khrys left the house alone for school. Today is the first day of classes in Elementary level while Aaron who is in first year high school now will have their classes next week. I always wanted these two boys to go to the same school because in that way I feel secure and I trusted Aaron to look after his younger brother Khyrs. Although, I trusted them both but, for me it would still be different if they are together. These boys grew up together, and I know how close they are-although they have their differences and fights on some petty things but they easily fixed and iron things before the day ends.
Well, anyway, next year Khrys will be in high school and I am sure they will be together again in the same school every day. I hope that Khrys will not be affected in case there are changes in the curriculum once the bill was passed and approved and signed into law. I know Khrys is excited now (just like Aaron) to be in high school, he doesn't entertain the idea of enrolling himself into grade 7...
Whatever the outcome of this proposal of having grade 7 is something to look forward to. Meantime, it's back to school again...good luck to all mommies and kids. It's time to wake up early and be sure to eat healthy foods, don't forget your kids vitamins before sending them to school every day.
