Today is Easter Sunday...My youngest son actually asked me what do we celebrate during this day. In his young mind he don't fully understand yet the details of Holy week. As Christians I believed he deserve to know. As he grow up he will get to learn more all about these things. But, just to answer his simple question, today, we celebrate the resurrection of the lord Jesus Christ. Jesus came back to life after his death on the cross on Good Friday.
You know children never run out of questions and he has a lot of follow up questions regarding so many things. When situations like this arises i sometimes pass the burden to hubby. Hubby knows best how to handle questions and explain it in a simple manner so that my children will understand well...and speaking of Good Friday, I am proud and happy to say that for the past years hubby and I never missed joining the station of the cross during Good Friday. This is one activity we never missed during Holy Week. I wish we can continue doing this together every year.
