Be Healthy and Physically Fit

A lot of my friends are complaining they abruptly gained weight especially during the last Holidays. Obviously, me too have gained weight this maybe because there were parties every now and then from friends and relatives which tempted me to eat more. I guess majority of us forgot about their diet. This observation alarmed me much more this morning when I have read in the newspaper about diabetes.  Studies shows that an adult female who has an expanded waistline to more than 31inches and more than 35 inches for the male may lead to diabetes (Philippine daily Inquirer, Science/Health section Page B4, under Science/Health section Jan 08, 2011 issue).  I do believe in the saying: Prevention is better than a pound of cure. So, it's better to watch and pay so much attention to our health than regret it later. Staying healthy is the best possible way to prevent diabetes or any health problems.

In order to stay healthy of course we have to define our lifestyle and religiously watch our diet. We also need to increase our physical activities to maintain our weight, and exercise is a great help. Others indulge themselves in sports to stay physically fit and to lose weight.  I myself love these things; in fact I go to the gym and play badminton if my time permits.  But, there are  situations that prevented me from doing the usual things and I need motivation sometimes.  When we submit ourselves to any sports or physical activities we need Sports Nutrition to enhance our body and for endurance. No matter what we are into we should always bear in mind that "Health is Wealth".
