Since I got married and having a family of my own I usually spend Christmas with my whole family.  I see to it that we are together during this day.  Family is very important for me and celebrating Christmas would not be the same and happy without them. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

Two Weeks School Break This Holiday Season

My boys had their Christmas party in school yesterday.  They will have a two weeks school break this Holiday seasons.  I still could not think where to bring them this holidays considering that the weather is unpredictable and besides it would also mean additional expenses.  But, everybody deserves a holiday or a break. I guess, its one way to relax and enjoy each others company and spend quality time together atvilla holidays.  Wow! I am pretty sure my growing up boys like the idea. Anyway, there are still a lot of things to do to enjoy and spend the Holidays. Whatever comes along will be enjoyed and treasured forever. 

What else? By the way my boys had also their exchanging gifts in school and they both happy with their respective gifts.  Aaron got a basketball while Khrys received a chess board with a face towel. This morning they enjoyed playing basketball and tonight they are enjoying chess and hubby acts as their coach. I myself don't know how to play it but I find it challenging just by looking at them. I think I should learn how to play chess.  I am glad too for their gifts and I am confident they will spend the day playing with it, especially during this time of a two weeks Christmas break.  This is all for now, I'll be back in a short while guys, have to wash the dishes first.

I gained Weight

I had my check up the other day and my endocrinologist advised me that I can go back to my regular exercise. I felt relieved because I obviously gained weight and the unwanted fat in some areas of my body starts to be visible.  I hate it, really hate it! Anyway, I am so excited again to go back to exercise hopefully this weekend or anytime next week.  

As I arranged the pile of clothes in our cabinet I looked for my exercise attires, and when I fitted some of it I am not comfortable anymore.  It made me feel conscious seeing those unwanted fats.  My goodness! I realized in just a matter of almost two months that I temporarily stopped exercising I easily gained weight.  This is me, really me.  Maybe because I did not watch my diet also, and I think this will continue considering it is Holiday season again, meaning there will be party here and there. When I say party of course  there will be plenty of food too!

Well, I hope I can control myself from eating too much this Holidays, LOL!

I Am Optimistic For My Cousin...

Everyone experience dating someone in her life. We date somebody which we think worth dating or we have an interest to that certain person. I know of some individuals who choose to remain single, and they are happy and contented with their lives.  I myself has a cousin whom I believe will remain what she is now and I don't want to dig deeply why she chooses to remain such.  It keeps me wondering why because she possesses that personality every man would love to have in a woman.   

Her sister always encourages her to go out, to enjoy life and have fun dating.  But she refused such idea for the reason that she had gone through it in her younger years.  This made us feel desperate.  But, her sister and I did not lose hope nor give up because we are optimistic this time that she will find someone sooner or later.  After all she is still attractive and I know she deserves to find a lifetime partner, because I don't want her to get old alone. Lately, I was surprised by her sister's message that she caught my cousin openedNewark dating, is this a sign that she value and realized what we want for her? Well, I just hope and am optimistic about her opening that site. Good luck to my cousin.

Wishing For A Vacation Abroad

Taking a family vacation abroad is one of my dreams and included in my 2011 wish list.  I know it needs a huge sum of money but nothing is impossible if we will work hard and save for it.  When planning for a vacation one consideration which I think is very significant are the accommodation and the answer to the question where we go? There are so many cities in the UK with great locations which I want to visit and explore someday. 

I am a also fan of the late Princess Diana that's why I want to see the place where she grew up too and the palace she used to live with the Prince she married. Choosing for a place to stay in the UK need not be expensive for there is a cheap city breaks. Well, I must be dreaming now but who knows one day I may also be able to personally take a glimpse on Prince harry and William.  Huh! Those two Cute prince's always reminds me of their mother especially William who is set to get married soon. 

Anyway, I just hope my wishes will come true. I certainly believe everything happens in God's time.  Meantime, I will just focus on things which need immediate attention and think of some other ways to earn in order to save.

Feeling Guilty Tonight

I forgot to eat my lunch today.  I feel so hungry early late this afternoon that's why I cooked dinner early.  I want fish and I could not find one in our freezer so I went to a nearby small market in our subdivision to buy it.  I partnered it with adobong kangkong.  Oh! I feel so full after, and get even fuller because hubby brought leche flan too! My golly it tastes sweet. I did not refrain myself from eating too much tonight and it made me feel guilty as usual. To neutralize my sweet intake I sipped a cup of green tea mint flavor.

After sipping a cup of tea I faced my computer and check my email and other social networking account for updates.  I could not focus much now here in my computer because my attention is being divided between my favorite TV shows.  Well, it's commercial break so I'm back here guys. I was surfing the  web to get an idea about the best wines.  I am thinking of giving it to my brother in law. The search is over for I found rose wine, whew! I am settled now, but, I feel a little bit guilty now because I ate too much,I guess I need a little stretching and a walk around to burn some calories.  Time to say goodbye for now guys. Have a good night sleep everyone.

Surprised To See My Former Classmate in FB

I opened my Facebook account this afternoon and I responded to one friend request.  It was my classmate in college named Bernadette. I don't have contact with her after graduation in college until I last saw her seven years ago.  This petite lady with brown complexion is very down to earth and has strong faith in God.  I was surprised to know that she left the Philippines and now living in the UK with her foreigner husband. Knowing Bernadette it never entered my mind that she will marry a foreigner. Oh! I am so excited to see her offspring one of these days.  This year year will be her first Christmas in the UK and she is excited to spend their Hoseasons pet friendly holidays together with her in laws. We had a long chat too and she reveled every details of her life in UK.  But, she sometimes feel homesick though.  On her first few days of stay in the UK she felt alone and lonely but she tried to managed and overcome the feeling.  She keeps herself busy by working as carer with no experience at all but, according to her she learned to love her work and got easily adjusted to it.  She is saving too for future vacation here  in the Philippines anytime soon.

Internet and jobs online is the trend nowadays.  If you are a fresh graduate or looking for ways to earn then try online jobs. If you have a computer with internet connection you have a great chance to earn.  Be resourceful, don't waste your time doing nothing in your computer. Use it and earn from it.  If you don't have it then there are many internet cafe around.  You can earn decently through online jobs.  I know a lot of people are working and earning online now aside from blogging. Yesterday and Today

I went to bed late last night and woke up very early this morning, as usual to prepare our breakfast. My eldest son has an activity in Camp Holiday, Samal Island and I woke too early than my normal schedule.  Though still sleepy while preparing the food, but I managed to finish everything then went back to bed after. 

What else for today? Well, I have some other schedules lined up today though the weather is gloomy I hope it will not rain and I can attend to it all.  Anyway, yesterday I went out to shop accessories needed for our Christmas Tree which barely stand for weeks now.  Before shopping I dropped by in the Coop where I am a full pledge member and at the same time a volunteer.  I stayed there while patiently waiting for my husband to fetch me. I asked some regular employees there if they already bought something as gift for their loved ones.  Most of them admitted they are still thinking on it; while only one said she already have a special gift for her husband.  Since her husband is fond of gadgets and electronics she will surprise him with vci-300, and she is certain that her partner will surely like it. For me, although hubby shares the same passion for gadgets and electronics, I am still contemplating until now if I will buy one for him.

As early as last week I have been thinking what recipes to prepare for Christmas and New years Eve.  Mind you i tirelessly surfed the net  for different kinds of recipes.  I first google menus which contain low fat and low cholesterol and I could not believe that there are so many.  I realized that if people would just follow the proper diet and consumption then it would be nice.  It left me thinking that we can simply avoid getting diseases or being sick through the food we eat.  

We all know that too much fats and cholesterol in our food is not good to our body and health.  Well, I printed 3, only three recipes with low fat and low cholesterol content in addition to my list of filipino favorites to prepare  for Christmas and New years Eve.  Aside from they are nutritious and pleasing to the eyes too, lol! Those recipes I have copied are less expensive and will not eat more of my budget.  Humba for Filipinos  is another favorite, for me Humba is a substitute for Lechon.  But, as what I have said be careful with your intake, eat everything in moderation. 

Another  present during Christmas and new years Eve is the Red Wine. This wine is very popular,it adds color to the occasions. Red Wine can be bought in any department stores and groceries.  I have learned too that you can have it through Telegraph champagne, wow! we are really high tech now! everything can be done even when you are just at home.  Ordering online is the trend I guess for many people now. I hope you too guys have already in mind what recipes to prepare in celebrating Christmas and New year! But, above all, it's not the food that matters most its the way how we celebrate the birth of our dear Lord. This seasons also is the best time for sharing and give thanks for all the things and blessings to us throughout the year.

Tomorrow is December 8, it's the birthday of Mama Mary.  I am glad that she is here in our house today.  I am a Roman Catholic and I abide by the tradition of "Birhen Sa Brangay" wherein her statue is being circulated to different homes within the barangay.  I feel sad too because some catholics here in our subdivision is avoiding her statue, and these people are the ones who were very active before.  Now, I don't know why they seemed to be avoiding it. They have so many reasons to tell why...and I guess as a Catholic this should not be.  Anyway, I cannot force them, it's their decision.  I myself is not a devotee of Mama Mary, but, I respect,admire,honor and believe her as the mother of Jesus Christ our Lord.Happy Birthday and VIVA Immaculate Conception!

My Friend and My Cousin

Still we are talking about the Holidays, and Christmas holidays would also mean a grand vacation for some.  My friend had called me yesterday and they will take a one week vacation and that they will spend their first Christmas holidays away from home. Wow! I just wish them more happiness and will be praying for their safety.  

While this friend of mine is busy planning and thinking about their grand vacation my attention was switched to my cousin who is busy too remodeling their home. She wants to change the look of their house especially this Holiday season. In fact I accompanied her last weekend, we did our rounds to different malls to window shop.  Since she doesn't want a curtain these days in updating the look of their home I suggestedMade to measure Roller Blinds it's unique,cheaper and easy to install. At first she was hesitant about the idea, then later she was convinced and finally agreed to use it instead of curtains.  Her in laws will be coming over this Christmas and will extend their stay for three days more.  

She is excited and at the same time feeling a little bit nervous, because this will be the first time to spend the days with her in laws. She is very thrifty too in choosing Christmas decors and I saw how she carefully handles her budget.  Although she wants to impress her in laws, but, she doesn't want to spend more of her savings. I admire her for this. Yes, let us spend wisely.

This Coming Holidays

December is one of the most busy month of the year I guess. When I was still in my younger years I can remember how happy and excited I was during this December.  I can see it in my children now.  They are excited too and start thinking what might be their gifts to their Kringle and vice versa. Oh, by the way my boys reminded me this morning before they left for school to buy a Christmas decor for their classroom.  Each of them are required to bring anything to enhance the look of their classroom and to feel the spirit of Christmas.  I will be out this afternoon to buy gifts because next week will be my boys Christmas party in school.  After that they will enjoy a second week long holidays.  I am thinking now what to do and how my family will enjoy these holidays.  Oh! I think it would be fun if we will go Hoseasons canal boat holidays, I am dreaming that one day my family and I will experience this.  But, thinking about the possibility how it will happen and when I guess still needs a long planning.  Anyway, I do believe everything is possible in God's time.  I will just save and work hard for it. Meanwhile there are still a lot of things to do this holidays and places to explore here in our place which I am sure my boys will enjoy.

Two Weeks Ago...

I always feel wonderful every time I see everything is in order.  No mess and scattered things around every corner in the house. But, with three growing up boys I admit it's quite impossible to avoid it.  It pissed me off when I see there personal belongings left or put in a wrong place.  Although, most of time I'd just fixed it myself right away.  Two weeks ago after my surgery I requested my sisters to help me clean up the house (they almost did all the cleaning) because I cannot do it myself yet.  I let them disposed and threw away things which are of no use. While sorting out things I saw our old pictures-old pictures way back including negative (film).  Some pictures are blurred already but, I enjoyed looking at it, it brings back old memories. One day I will show them to my boys, and I am pretty sure they will enjoy it with the use of Ion Pics2SD.  My dear friend introduced this to me when we were chatting last month. According to her,she enjoyed watching old pictures with this latest technology.

By the way, after seeing all those old pictures and when everything was in order I treated my sisters with a heavy late lunch.  It was indeed a very tiring day for my sisters, not so much for me-and I am so thankful for the favor they extended to me.  Thank you sisters.
